Reserves

Crafted from the finest vineyard sources, our Reserves represent the pinnacle of winemaking at Geyser Peak Winery. Starting in the vineyard with rigorous selection process, the vey best grapes are fermented in small lots and continue through blending and aging. Each lot is continuously and meticulously evaluated. The final wine may be a combination of literally dozens of lots. The result is highly seductive and boldly expressive wines – world class in every respect. Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and Reserve Alexandre Meritage, a wine blended from five Bordeaux varieties, are our flagship wines in this tier.

Block Collection

What is a block? A block is a very distinct parcel, or ‘block’ within each vineyard. Sun exposure, slope and fog influence are among other factors that lead to differing terroirs, creating this special collection within each vineyard.

Vineyards, like people, are unique. And what creates this singularity is a wide-ranging collection of influences, both natural and man-made. They Geyser Peak Winery Block collection is winemaker Ondine Chattan's expression of the complexity of in site specific winemaking in Sonoma County’s Alexander and Russian River Valleys.

Varietal

Geyser Peak varietal wines are based in the heart of famed Alexander Valley wine region, where we vinify grapes from exceptional vineyards separately, then blend these small lots to create harmonious wines that express the essence of a grape variety. Our winemakers are impassioned to create wines that engage the sense sand inspire the soul. Across the board these wines compare favorably to wines costing many times more. In particular, our Sauvignon Blanc is a perennial award winner, scooping up gold medals and “Best Buy’ recommendations, while our Cabernet is noted for its rich berry flavors and true varietal character.
