A PASSION FOR ALEXANDER VALLEY CABERNET SAUVIGNON
In 1880,
the year
Geyser
Peak Winery was founded, Alexander Valley was just
getting
settled
by pioneers,
missionaries
and soldiers
who’d
won land
grants
from the
government.
The valley
has changed
a lot since then, but not
as much
as one might think. Still mostly rural and agricultural,
Alexander
Valley has gained a reputation
in the
last
decade
as a leading region for Cabernet
Sauvignon.
ALEXANDER VALLEY TERROIR
IS OUR
FOUNDATION
Founded in Alexander Valley in 1880, Geyser Peak Winery is
one of the oldest
wineries in
its region. Remarkable in its diversity,
Alexander Valley
boasts an unusual mosaic of soil types, climates
and topography.

we do,
an overarching
philosophy
that guides everything from our winemaking to our farming
and everyday
interactions.
